Gluten free peace

I’m feeling extremely sassy tonight and can’t even imagine taking off my makeup because my eyebrows are more on fleek than usual (they are like my favorite children, my pride and joy). So here goes a lovely rant about a verse that always seems to come up.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I am no theologian, and I’m certainly not the most knowledgeable bible reader in the area (#jokesonme I’m alone in a forest therefore I am n.1), but here is the thing about this peace the book of Philippians brings up: it’s literally the best of the best. This is organic, GMO free stuff with agave syrup instead of sugar and it’s freaking gluten free, lactose free, corn free and all-around food free.

Just wanted to put that out there: we have a really kind God, who showers us with gifts that have so  much more value than owning a home or an iPad – can you imagine having access to the kind of peace that comes from God? That is so amazing we can’t even understand it. And the best part is, he brings it all back to JC, that this peace will “guard your hearts and your minds” in Him. When times are troubling and the future is looking blurry (either because you’re in college and don’t know what in the world you are doing here, or because you’re crying… for those same reasons), we have the safety of going back to our daddy and resting our hearts and minds in the one thing we know for a fact: the love of Jesus. Tis a lovely thing.

Here is a cow to make your night happier and because it reminds me of the impossible selfie episode with the mother ship.
